Anastasiia Feshchenko
She was once a curious, happy child who loved to draw, dance, and play doctor. Her toy stethoscope and “hospital” for dolls always brought laughter and joy. She loved imagining herself as a healer, helping everyone around her. But life changed in an instant. The white coat, which once seemed like part of a game, became a symbol of fear, pain, and uncertainty. Her toys turned into reality—not a joyful one, but a difficult daily struggle.
The illness came out of nowhere. Nastia wasn’t born sick—a common virus turned into an invisible enemy, attacking her body. Lumbar myelitis struck suddenly, first taking away the movement of her hands. Then, it paralyzed her chest and neck, stealing the most precious thing—the ability to breathe on her own.
Imagine what it feels like when something as natural as breathing becomes an impossible luxury. Now, every breath Nastia takes is supported by a ventilator. Her small body is confined to a hospital bed, and her life is surrounded by the sounds of medical monitors and the hum of hospital machines.
Her days are now filled with endless examinations, surgeries, and painful rehabilitation. But even amid these trials, she does not give up. Her tear-filled eyes still shine with hope. Nastia wants to live. She dreams of breathing on her own again, of returning to a world filled with children’s laughter, warm hugs, and the joy of being with her loved ones.
We are doing everything we can, but we cannot do it without your help. The treatment and rehabilitation that could give Nastia a chance require enormous funds. Without them, her fight cannot continue.
Nastia is fighting where even adults would have given up. She needs your support. Every donation, every contribution is a step toward her dream. It is her chance.
